Sponges have been used for centuries for home and commercial applications like hygiene and cleaning. Since the development of artificial sponges in the 1940’s, the ability to customize the shape, durability, and absorbency have made it possible to manufacture sponges for specific uses. The grout sponges we carry are designed by Hydro sponge to maximize their efficiency when used to clean grout. Manufactured with small pores and round edges to make your task as easy as possible. We also carry grouting sponges designed specifically for use with epoxy grout. These Epoxy grout sponges will not pack up or retain water and will last you 10 to 12 times longer than scrubby pads. It’s not recommended to use epoxy sponges for normal grout since they are more expensive than regular grout sponges.

Floats are an ideal tool for spreading grout into the joints between tiles installed on walls or floors. You can quickly and efficiently fill these joints with a basic grout float, which has a soft and flexible base plate that will not damage or scratch your tiles or tile glaze. In order to create a flawless transition from wall tiles to floor tiles proper use of a base and cove float is required. For large jobs it is important that you select a float that is comfortable in your hand, that’s why we only carry the highest quality floats available.

Trowels are small hand tools that consist of a handle and a flat metal blade that is used for scooping up and spreading plaster or similar substances. We carry trowels for tile setting, masonry, and other applications in both left and right-handed styles. These trowels are also available in many shapes and sizes, as well as with different notches depending on the specific requirements of your project.

Be sure to contact us via email if we don’t have the specific tool you are looking for listed on our site. Odds are, we can get it for you at a discounted price.
