Fabricating Silestone
I just got 4 slabs of silestone for free (2 are 3/4thk and 2 are 3/8).  I priced it out to get it fabricated and it's about $800 for a sink cut out and to put an edge on it.  I played around with a small piece and believe do the job myself.  If it does...

If you know how to top polish granite you can also top polish quartz. Make sure not to overshine the repair. When you want to match the snakeskin texture use the Klone-It kit found here:

top polishing quartz
I have a seam in a quartz counter top i would like to top polish, its off like 1/64 in  the back. Is there a way to top polish quartz? if so, where do i get the supplies? thanks, Terry

A year should be fine as long as it was closed tight when you used it last.
If you put too little hardener the chemial reaction will be slower. If you put too much then the chemical reaction will be fater. Think a pea size amount of hardener to a table...
