Tenax Pectro Black

Tenax Pectro Black Stone Treatment was developed to hide microfissures, "Spiderwebs" and natural defects in dark granite. Pectro Black works best for dark granites (black, brown, greens, etc). This product can be used two ways:

To spot treat part of a slab you apply it with a cloth and immediately buff off with a clean cloth. For an entire slab you apply it with the cloth and let it stand for 10 - 15 minutes, then buff it off with steel wool to get a professional result. Depending on how thick you applied it you may have to first wipe it with a cloth before you buff it out with fine steel wool. This full slab application may even increase the gloss of the stone, but if you do it when spot treating you will slightly color enhance the slab where it was applied and that may stand out against the rest of the slab.

Tenax Pectro Black Stone Treatment is more of a stain than a liquid wax. It can be used to enhance the fissures to make their color blend into the rest of the slabs top so they are less visible. This is not a "color enhancer" nor is it a sealer.
